The Scantrust app for printing partners

Scantrust maintains several apps that can be downloaded on several app stores. Only one is meant for Scantrust printing partners though.

Years ago, the Scantrust Enterprise App was also used for setting up and completing printing tasks. That all changed when we released the Scantrust Printer app and removed printing functions from the Enterprise app.

Printers working with Scantrust clients can download the Scantrust Printer app for free on Google Play for Android and the Tencent app store.

The printing app was purpose-built for an improved experience, including three dedicated features:

  • Display the work orders list. Quality assurance tasks can be started from this list.
  • Printing equipment and substrate calibration, managed in the app.
  • Code authentication for individual code quality assurance.
  • Why did Scantrust separate printing functions from the enterprise App?

    The motivation was to separate quality assurance functions from the rest of the Scantrust Enterprise App functions. That became an opportunity to rebuild the whole code base for the app while adding changes that would improve the experience with better production insights for printing companies.

    The Enterprise app stopped providing access to printing operation features on June 15, 2021.
